I hate Chicago and everything associated with it, but they've paid their dues for that win.

Dirtyish. It was a super hard slide, but not the worst thing. However, it's a meaningful game and at this point you're doing anything to win. It's unfortunate someone got hurt. But I wouldn't flat out call it "dirty".
I think there's a place for hard slides, just as I think there's a place for homeplate collisions. They've been a part of baseball for so long I don't want to see them gone forever or banned.
However, I also have no issue with Utley serving a suspension now. There should be consequences for "rough play". Just like if you're a pitcher and you throw at someone intentionally, you should sit for a start or 2 games if you're a reliever.
