Last week, Louisville re-hired the slimy Bobby Petrino to be their head football coach. Yesterday, Petrino "stole" Georgia's defensive coordinator, Todd Grantham. Amazingly, Grantham is getting about a $200K/year raise to make the move. Don't let the door hit ya, CTG.
Charlie Strong is the new Texas coach and here is how he was greeted:

And the school trademarks "Stronghorns".

The above shirt was immediately pulled, btw
You wanna know what's awesome?

When ESPN fabricates something like "National Signing Day" out of nothing, drives up interest where there otherwise wouldn't be any, and then makes all of the real-time information unavailable except through their bogus Insider.

A good percentage of these kids will de-commit from whatever they announce today and go elsewhere, and an even greater percentage will never amount to anything on the field.

But hey, make us pay for the info.

Fuckheads.
National Signing Day is creepy.
Fowler and Herbstreit on ABC Saturday Night. I might watch that just for the announce team. Can't believe Musburger is gonna retire to the SEC Network. Might be the best football, but the Pac12 has a network too, and that's SoCal, not swampland.
You had me at "Musberger is gonna retire." Can't stand him and don't want him doing Pac-12 announcing.

Yeah, the officiating is painful enough...

I rarely watch Saturday Night Football on ABC so I do not care about its announce team. I typically watch the SEC games on ESPN/ESPN 2. There probably will not be many marquee games on the SEC Network so it will be easy to ignore Musburger. The Network will probably get the games Jefferson Pilot used to air.
Next year we'll be in the AAC.

Fuck you Stax.

Who else has a team in the AAC?
