TCU should have never been ranked #3 to begin with but that's pretty bad to destroy your opponent and fall 3 spots.
That's what I mean. The playoffs solved nothing if teams like TCU, who are part of a "power five" conference, get dropped 3 spots on the last day of the regular season after blowing out its opponent (similar to the teams below and ahead of them in the polls).
So ECU vs Florida in the Birmingham Bowl on 1/3. Should be interesting.

People expected stupid things to stop happening when stupid people who don't know shit and have agendas were still 100% in charge of the process. And now, the expectation is that if more and more teams are added, stupid things will then stop happening. I seriously doubt it.
The Big 12 changed the way they named conference champs less than two weeks before the playoff was set. They should have been eliminated from consideration as soon as that happened, and maybe they were.
Finally, the Big 12 is REALLY pissed they got left out because they missed out on a $6 million extra payday on top of the $20 million they already get per team from their TV deal, none of which goes directly to the players, but Todd Gurley got suspended 4 games for getting a couple hundred bucks for possibly signing his name on shit, was probably out of football shape because of it, then tore up his knee. The priorities in college football are seriously fucked up. If I was a player, I would be selling my autograph to anyone who would pay for it, I'd sell my game used shit, I'd sell any trophy items I got, and I'd sell anything I got in my bowl game gift basket. I'd open an on-line store where people could buy all my shit. And then when the NCAA came knocking, I'd just say, hey, didn't Art Briles say "Isn't this America?"
