HELL YES!!!
LOL fuck Notre Dame
They bring it on themselves by clinging to ridiculous academic standards and trying to have a competitive football team.

I'm not saying that 1 football player can't be good at football and studying, but to try to find enough to field a championship caliber football team isn't going to happen.

Either way it's LOL funny that ND sucked for years then recruited a bunch of academic frauds and then went undefeated. And now it's all catching up with them.
The worst part about it being in Chicago, for a school in Indiana, it's all they're talking about today on local sports talk and I can't stand it. I actually went and tracked down a CD player at work so I have something to listen to today. For some reason if you're Irish and/or Catholic you automatically have to love Notre Dame. Something I will never understand. And every single one of those "fans" is a complete moron.
Most "fans" are complete morons. It's pretty rare that I have an educated sports conversation. None of my coworkers can have an educated conversation about the NFL, even the ones who proclaim that they are huge fans of whatever team (like this Pats fan I work with).
I'm referring to the people calling in today. Usually they're better (or screened better)on ESPN Chicago. This Notre Dame is the victim stuff today and no way they could do wrong is borderline Cubs fandom stuff today.

I get better conversations when I'm bartending or writing compared to this stuff today. Rarely do I actually turn the radio off. That's how bad it was.
Ohhh. Callers are pretty awful too. The ones in the south are notorious. If I get my own office this fall, I might have to load up the Jaguars sports-talk shows in the afternoon because the callers are hilariously awful, but then again, the older I get the less I enjoy listening to awful shit for the sake of laughing at it.
I'm very fortunate living where I do and having quality local programming on the national company stations. The 2 local ESPN shows here are fantastic. But I don't know wtf happens when Notre Dame does anything good or bad. It's like the floodgates of stupidity fly open.
ADD, just be happy you don't listen to the score.

I have a friend who produces for mac and spiegel and he says boers and bernstein encourage idiot callers.
I don't see how anyone can listen to sports radio now that podcasts are available. I just stream through my phone or ipod and know that I have something good to listen to no matter where I am or what time it is.
