Still true.

More true today.

Easily the worst Michigan team I can remember. Even worse than Rich Rod's first team because at least that seemed like it was going somewhere.

I enjoy that the alumni that basically ran Rodriguez out of town and are now forced to endure Hoke's bumbling ineptness.
I hope he stays forever
They have the perfect opportunity to lay it at the feet of his "concussion protocol". It would be totally justified, make a strong statement on a hot button issue, and get and allow them to start the search for the next coach extra early. The problem is that it would basically knock out any NFL guys, because no way Jim Harbaugh is leaving the Niners mid-season to go to Michigan. But they could hire an interim and start leaning on people now. Really I don't know what keeping Brady Hoke on now does except absorb the shitstorm.

Never underestimate the instinctive nature of Michigan boosters to circle the wagons to protect things they irrationally cling to.

They love Bo Schembechler and anything they can tenuously connect to him. After the Rich Rod hire, they actively worked to get him fired because "He wasn't like Bo." The short list of coaches are always guys that either coached for or played for Bo.

I've disliked Brady Hoke since day one because:
1. I liked Rich Rod.
2. I thought Brady's Hoke's terrible coaching record was indicative of his coaching ability.

I was willing to give him a chance because he seemed committed to building a defense and he did go 11-2 with a Sugar Bowl win. But he looks increasingly unable to navigate and manage the responsibilities of a national program.

It's hilarious that anybody things that either of the Harbaughs are going to go to Michigan to coach. They also want Les Miles. He's used them twice to get huge salary bumps at LSU and still people are like "Les Miles wants to coach here!!!"

I wish they'd go outside the box and pick somebody that's a genius coach, instead of somebody that was a position coach for Bo Schembechler 30 years ago.
"if somebody J-Walked in Ann Arbor this morning, 99.9% of the university would blame Brady Hoke"

Kirk Herbstreit, 10-1-14
That Ohio State education sure is paying off...
he was actually defending Hoke as far as the concussion thing goes.
He's an insufferable arrogant jackass regardless if he was defending him or not.
GTFO....Herbie is a NCAA god. BTW, what sports analyst on TV isn't? They're all egomaniacs.
Herbie is a know-it-all piece of crap. Fuck him. I hope Corso just hauls off and nuts him some morning.
