why's he wearing a bomb tech vest?

Roddy! I don't know anybody who doesn't love a dashound. They're very bold and most dogs aren't that bright. Milo used to bark and chase at his shadow.

Because he's a bomb sniffing dog...Duh.

We didn't want to make him wear a collar so we started him on harnesses when he was young (he's 3 now). That one is the best we've had because he's not into storms - it seems to have had a similar effect as one of those thundershirt things.

He has moments of brilliance but then he goes and does something silly like barking at a branch. Our family has had Dachshunds for about 14 years now - pretty much the only true breed we've ever owned as our other dogs were muts.

Depends on how you raise them. Proper obedience training and they're fine, otherwise they can be a handful. He barks at strangers and cats, otherwise he's quiet.
